About friends of rossmoor (FOR)

Friends of Rossmoor (FOR) is a parent-founded, non-profit organization that works side-by-side with parents, administrators, teachers, and PTA to raise funds that enrich the academic foundation for all Rossmoor Elementary School students.

It takes committed community support to take our great school to the next level!

FOR’s main purpose is to support the STEM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at Rossmoor. We do this by funding the Rossmoor STEM Lab which benefits all our Knights in TK-5th grade.  

We have been fortunate enough to successfully fund our STEM lab for the last Eight years! 

FOR, which represents the Friends of Rossmoor Elementary, needs to raise a minimum of $100,000 annually to continue to fund our STEM Program which includes teacher salary, STEM supplies and support the school house system.. This year LAEF has generously donated $8,000 to the STEM program here at Rossmoor! 

One of the highlights of the year is our adult only KNIGHTLIFE Event.

Along with Knightlife, other fundraisers that support FOR include Day in the Life and Teacher Time. Also, don’t forget about ordering your See’s Candies during our Yum-Raising fundraisers. We are hoping to add a few new exciting things this year.
